The Lord was very good to us today. Let’s pray that all the gospel seed would fall upon good soil and that the Father would draw many to the Lord Jesus.

It is easy to be tempted into compromise, soften our message, or engage in man-centred approaches to draw the crowd. It is easy to lower the gospel call of repentance and faith, to one of easy-believism so that we can get people to “uh-huh” to a few questions we ask them about Jesus.

It was a lively day of open-air evangelism in Newquay; we even had an atheist threaten to bomb our church.

In this talk, I look at the question of if Calvinists evangelise, the confessional position on missions, and then some practical thoughts on how Reformed Baptists can work together to achieve the gospel of world evangelisation.

I went to this outreach dragging my heels, but that isn’t how I came home. I came home with a spring in my step, as the Lord worked mightily in Newquay.

As spiritually healthy Christians we should be outwardly focused, not just inward. As we read our Bibles, something that should strike us is that our God delights in saving sinners; from cover to cover we see the thread of redemption. Everything in the Old Testament points forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus, and then everything in the New Testament points back to Him. All of the Scripture revolves around Him, and the work He came to do.

Even in the wet weather, the Lord’s providence was on display.

There is a new and water down version of the gospel spreading. Let us return to the Old Paths!

Never underestimate the power of your story. If you are a Christian, then the Lord has been incredibly kind in that He saved you, and now you have a unique testimony that you can tell others.

My passion for evangelism isn’t drying up, and even though this blog is called, “When Evangelism Stops”, I still intend to evangelise.

It was another wonderful day of evangelism in Newquay. Read and WATCH what happened in our seaside town.

We live in a day of great spiritual darkness, so I truly believe it is time for us to turn on the light of God’s Word. If we want to see people come from the darkness of sin, and come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, then we need to unleash God’s Word.

I love being able to chat to people in public about the Lord Jesus, however, due to all the COVID lockdowns our efforts in open-air evangelism has been limited this year. That changed today!

How does the gospel influence our marriages, or how we raise our children? The gospel isn’t just for those ‘out there’ but it it also for our own homes.

The age-old question in evangelism is, “How do we get people to hear the good news?” Over the years people have come up with a variety of methods and programs all designed to answer this vital question.
