The good news continues to spread in Coventry, UK.
So many people who have questions will never darken the door of a church, so we must take the light to them.
I had a total of 408 copies of John’s Gospel, and in my lack of faith, I didn’t believe I would be able to hand out many in Truro, but to my surprise over two hours, I was able to hand out 368 copies of the Gospel.
It was a joy to spend time with David Knight (Exposit the Word) talking about the subject of evangelism. I pray this interview encourages you to make much of Jesus.
It was perfect weather for open-air evangelism today - the sun was out; the sky was blue, and the temperature was pleasant. Due to the weather, I wasn’t surprised that the city centre of Plymouth was overflowing with people.
It has been a challenging few weeks in both ministry and family life, and sadly what happens is that evangelism can sometimes fall by the wayside.
Over the Easter period, I was reminded of God’s total sovereignty over the affairs of humanity. I had planned to conduct three outreaches in the lead up to Easter, but the Lord had other ideas.
Ministry can be hard; there are many instances where there are times when you feel like giving it all up, but then there are days like today when you are reminded of the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord.
Despite the threatening weather, the gospel advanced in Truro.
It was a windy day, and the labourers were few, but still, the gospel went forth.
At the end of the message, I challenged those who wanted to find out more about Jesus to come forward to take a free copy of the Gospel of John. Five people of different ages responded by making their way through the crowd to take a copy of the Scripture.
