How to Share the Gospel at a Wedding

Everyone loves a wedding; there is something joyful about seeing one man and one woman coming together. From the very beginning, God ordained marriage (Genesis 2:24) – it is a gift to humanity.

Weddings provide a wonderful opportunity to share the gospel. Throughout the ceremony, there are many symbols that all point to Jesus and His love. If you are invited to share the gospel at a wedding, use some of the commonly known traditions and symbols to point towards the cross.

In October 2024, Josh Williamson was invited to preach the gospel at the wedding of two of his friends. The ceremony was attended by many unsaved people, including those from the military community. Using a few symbols from the wedding, Josh pointed to the Saviour.
