It is amazing the difference a week can make. Last week, things were challenging in the open air, but today there was freedom and openness that left us feeling refreshed at the end of the outreach. I

“What you would say if someone died, was buried, then came back to life, and He told us all about what happens next. Would you believe Him?”

Today, I shared the good news in England's smallest city. It was a cold day, but the gospel went forth (even though my board was blown over!)

In open-air evangelism, there are days where things feel easy and open, but then you have days like today; days where it seems that everything is a battle.

Today, I got to preach in Bristol for the first time – let me be clear, I am no Wesley or Whitefield; we didn’t have thousands standing to listen to the gospel, but we did have precious souls listen to the good news, and numerous people wanted to chat and took copies of John’s Gospel.

Jesus rules and reigns – His Kingdom will never fall nor be conquered. These were my thoughts as gathered to preach the gospel in the city centre of Bath.

Despite the hard ground the gospel advances. Please pray for all those we encountered today.

After I had finished preaching, I went over to speak to Richie. It was clear that he was in turmoil of soul, and something was greatly troubling him. As we chatted, he said, “I’m at the end of myself; I need Jesus!”

The cults aren’t happy that the gospel is spreading in Southampton.

The leader of this small group started the conversation by saying, “I have questions.” With that, we began to talk about everything from who God is, the afterlife, Heaven, Hell, sin, salvation, and the environment.

Jay said, “Can I trust in Jesus right now?” I told him that he could, so there in the middle of Southampton we bowed our heads as Jay called upon the Lord for salvation.

On Monday, I met Will, who was being pursued by the Jehovah's Witnesses - today, I bumped into him again. The Lord seems to be at work in Will's life.

Some days are very fruitful, others are hard and quiet.
